Tater-tot hotdish
Ingredients...
1 1/2 pounds of hamburger
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of celery
(can substitute cream of chicken for either of these...)
1 bag of tater tots.
milk
*Option of adding 1/2 a can of corn or green beans etc.*
Brown hamburger, drain.
Open cans of soups and mix them together in a large bowl.
Rinse each can with about a 1/4 can of milk and add milk to soup mixture.
This is a good time to add some corn.
Mix it up real good till you have a nice creamy sauce
Take a roasting pan and start layering, starting with a little hamburger,then some tots, then some soup mix, repeat. 3 layers is good. It all depends on the size of your roaster. Finish with tots and a little soup.
Throw in your favorite spices all the while you're layering. you can do cajun, taco, etc.
Put the cover on, put into a 350° preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.pull it out, take the cover off and finish in the oven for 15 minutes till it's a golden brown.
